Amalia, your photos always make me smile. I especially like that precious pony. And those desserts! When the girls visited France, one of the things they loved most about it was the desserts and food and the charming cafes.

Wishing you happy August days, Amalia.

Yellow is one of my favourite colours so I enjoyed these images from France. If I recall my high school French correctly, I think yellow = jaune in French.

...Amalia. thanks for this gorgeous tour of France. Where are we off to next?

Jim said...

Thank you, Amalia, for posting the pictures of sights from your French Alp Visit. We went around them to the South one time we visited France and Italy, a five week Spring visit.
Mrs. Jim had her French/English dictionary out to help read the La Petite Ruche wall sign. My guess was the Children's Menu but when she saw the word for Honey we knew I was wrong She has had three semesters of College French.
So I went to google:
"Sometimes called a “down-sized Hermitage,” La Petite Ruche is from young vines and is all freshness and easy enjoyment. “Petite Ruche” means “little beehive,” an appropriate name as the vineyards were formerly used for bee keeping."
I came here from Tom's Weekend link. Oh yes, we landed from a Mediterranean cruise at Haifa and stayed eight nights in Jerusalem way back in time.
