happy and small,
but he didn't like carrots
and I mean - not at all!
So what did he like?
OK, I won't tease,
this little bunny
only ate cheese.
His mom didn't like
the smell in the house
and said: "really, my son,
you're not a mouse!"
The bunny said: "Mama,
relax, if you please,
let us not fight
over some cheese.
If you don't like my Swiss
because of the smell,
I'll switch to Cheddar,
it is orange as well."

Love it all. Have a good week, Diane
Artistic ability obviously runs in the family. The bunny is adorable. Hamish isn't that keen on carrots either. I haven't tried him with cheese but he's very partial to anything green. xx

Adorable! I adore how your love of sewing is being passed along. I learned to craft and sew from my aunt...so many wonderful memories. xo
It is good to see young people like your niece who are willing to help others to learn (and I bet she learned her skill from her Auntie Amalia!) Your cute poem and the pictures are so full of joy!

Go Dana! How wonderful that she is enthusiastic about sewing and is passing her talent along. Sewing is not only creative, but practical, as well. Love it! The cheese-eating bunny is quite cute. Cute kids, as well. Hugs, Nancy
So delightful, Amalia! I don't know which I like more -- the happy photos or your cute poem!
How wonderful you're teaching your niece to sew, Amalia. My mom was a very good seamstress, and made many of my clothes growing up. I can only sew a little, and please know how talented and creative you are. Love the little bunny, it's so cute. And your poem is delightful. : )

Fantastic.. I think having kids learning like this is just the thing. So many now do not know these type of skills. Yay for your niece.

I love that the children are crafty too! How many of us had a felt 'softy' toy as a first sewing project? It's wonderful that the children are learning these skills and exercising their creativity. They are growing up too, looking so old!
