The Sky is Blue

Where the grass is green
and the flowers are shy,
you can lie on your blanket
and look at the sky.

Yes, let's go on a picnic,
it will be so much fun,
with mosquitoes and bees
and the burning sun.

Featured: my new picnic blanket,
two adorable nephews
and cake. You have to have cake.

I love your poem. Your poetry reminds me of A.A. Milne's. Christopher Robin, Pooh, and the gang would've loved bringing your beautiful blue blanket to their picnic.

Lindos os seus sobrinhos! A mantinha é linda e o bolo ...hummmm....apetitoso!

O seu sobrinho tem uma camisolinha com um "galo de Barcelos", um símbolo português. Achei engraçado:))
