In our post office
works a snail,
who takes forever
to deliver the mail.
He crawls around
at an awful pace,
says slow and steady
wins the race.
We try to be patient
whenever he’s late -
when snail mail comes,
It is well worth the wait.

That's adorable. Your nephews are so sweet and must love spending time with their creative aunt. xx
What a cute poem and an even cuter nephew. Looks like he had a lot of fun
Your nephews look like they are having a lot of fun. These are the things they will remember as they get older.
Best wishes
Ellie
What a fun and nice thing to do with your nephews.
Crafting with children is always a good idea. Sweet little boys.
I love this so much! You are an amazing aunt. I would love to get mail delivered by the little snail. Cards by snail mail is the best.

Boa tarde, crianças adoram brincar com artesanato, fazer coisas com as mãos, bom alguns adultos como nos, também 🌹
That looks like so much fun! I love the idea of snail mail.
So, so sweet. And you found a British stamp too! I think your post office has been modelling itself on Doar Yisrael!
As always, the poems and photos are absolutely lovely. You should turn your poems into a children's book. I enjoyed reading illustrated rhyming stories with my daughter at bedtime. Eventually, we knew the rhymes by heart, and my daughter, now grown up, still knows them.
Your nephews are adorable and having such fun creating mail boxes. The poem is cute too, snail mail can be worth the wait.
Take care, have a great day and happy weekend!
Great project.
And what a sweet nephew, thank you for the wonderful photos.
It can only put you in a good mood.

What a great idea! So sweet. Visiting from the Funtastic Friday link party.
Looks like fun to me, I love that you made a mail box to put them in too, so cute! When I have a package arriving it is hard to wait for the post person to arrive for sure :)
What a beautiful post. It's lovely to make projects with your nephew. And I love the idea of the snail mail!
Have a fantastic week!❤️😘
Cute post. I like your poem!
This is so sweet, Amelie. And last week I made a mailbox from a cracker box for my two little granddaughters! They spent a happy couple of hours making mail for each other. Love the poem.
What a cute idea and such a sweet poem.
This brought back warm memories of handwritten letters, thank you for that!
Your posts are always a delight with their sweet charm and wonderment. Loved the poem and those two bright faces posting their own snail mail. Thanks, Amalia.
...Amalia, your nephews are lucky to have such a crafty aunt!
This reminds me of playing "office mail" with my then young son. I love those kinds of memories. Your nephews are fortunate.
Oh my gosh, that looks so fun. I love the creativity.
Sweet photos of your nephews and a lovely poem too :) Creativity can make the learning experience such fun!
What a cute young man! I adore his project. Thank you for linking up.
Your nephews are so cute! You are making wonderful memories with them!
How lovely to spend time crafting with your nephews, I'm sure they'll always remember this special time in years to come. Love the poem.
That's a lovely post! I really enjoyed the whimsical poem about the snail mail, and it's so inspiring to hear about the New Year's cards you made with your nephews from recycled materials. What a wonderful idea!
"when snail mail comes,
It is well worth the wait."
Some friends and I had been talking about that. Snail mail not in the form of invoices etc. definitely is well worth the wait and special! Very cute.
Love it!! So adorable: the poem, the props, and your nephew!! Thanks for sharing it with us.
So cute!
This is a fun idea! Children liked to send and receive mail and it is a good way for them to have fun while practicing their penmanship. Your nephew is a handsome boy!
Very fun. I love the red mailbox. :-)
You nephew is super cute 🤗🥰
How heartwarming is your post dear Amalia ♥️♥️♥️
The cards and greetings are lovely and I really enjoyed your poem as always 🥰♥️👍
I really enjoy your poems!
Dear Amalia, what incredible ideas you always have and share, you're an artist in the truest sense of the word, you're nephews are far fortunate to be able to play with you.
With sincere gratitude for always leaving me in awe

Your snail mail post is delightful, Amalia. I love the RED mailbox. Such sweet time doing craft projects with your nephews. You know, snail mail is a lost art, and it seems we don't do this anymore. I still love receiving cards and notes and letters in the mail, and I still love sending them. ; )
Happy first day of Autumn Amalia!

That little poem about the snail delivering the mail is so cute and perfectly captures that feeling of waiting patiently. It's such a great idea to make handmade cards and a mailbox with your nephews using recycled materials, that sounds like a really fun and creative project. melodyjacob.com
Love the song
with bills paid through checking, email and text so no letter writing, I find that I don't use snail mail often. Cute poem
How sweet! And what a cute idea.
Have a happy weekend, y'all. :)
Haces bien en preparar con tiempo el correo 💌 navideño.... con suerte el caracol 🐌 llega a tiempo.😊😊🤭🤗

I miss being able to send mail. The postal system here is corrupt and very unreliable. So much has been lost or stolen over the years. :/
