of the rising sun,
the long bright day
when things are done,
the cooling breeze

Very pretty and they will look lovely. I would love to make little candle cosy covers but I am always worried that cotton will scorch or catch fire because it is flammable. I would love to know what you think and about your own experiences.
Lovely idea! So cute :)
Have a great saturday...
Warm hug from Titti
You're such a smartie. I like!
Your needlework is incredible Amalia...how about a 'night' shot?

Dear Amelia, those are so very cute! Please take a photo with the little candles, lit, inside so we can see the light against your work.
What a beautiful poem to accompany this :)
Candles with flickering flames are always appreciated by me - even better when there is a cute little bird on the outside!

Love these wonderful cups you use as candle holders! Haven't heard from you for a while - hope everything is okay? Also, are you in Holland or elsewhere (am asking, because after the blogspot I see co (dot) il in your url)) Anyways, wherever you are, have a wonderful time and thank you much for linking up to All Seasons!

Lovely!
I am trying to decorate my new office at work, as well at home. As I go through this, I wish I had your eye for color!
Fiquei imaginando a magia deste bordado quando refletido com a luz interna.
Muita delicadeza!
Abraços e feliz Outubro!
Amalia, your embroidery makes my heart sing. I haven't done any needlework in so long. What joy I remember as a young woman stitching little pictures. Your poem is so sweet just like your embroidery. Indeed the world is full of wonderful things. After the tragic event yesterday, my heart needed some beauty and innocence.
We sure need light in our world right now, Amalia. The embroidered candle holders are sweet. The next time you light one, think of your blog friend, Sheri, from across the world. : )
Lovely candle holders and sweet, gentle verse, thank you:)
Great and creative idea. Pretty candle holders. Have a beautiful day!
Have a wonderful Wednesday Amalia with hugs from us xx
Amalia, I am hopeless at verse. Don't know how you do it! And this is a truly unique idea for candle holders, and so charming.
You did a beautiful job with your embroidery! That looks so nice as a candle holder!
Amalia, you are amazing. Love your verses and your talents. Very creative project.
Your candle holders are beautiful, love the verse too. Very nice Amalia!
I'm sure that your embroidered candle holders look beautiful when they're illuminated. Thank you for the visit and get well wishes!

So lovely candle holders!
Have a nice time,
Christine
Sweet words and the embroidered candle cosies are lovely.
I seriously love those candle cosies. I must try this!
I hope you find wonderful things in this weekend, and would like to know them.
Your words are sweet and I love the little cozies for the candles.
Love the idea on the candle holders. Your words are just so sweet. Have an awesome weekend.
Beautiful.
I have embroidery envy. I've just returned to embroidery after a 35 year hiatus due to the impending arrival of my first grandchild. Unfortunately I'm no longer as confident and neat as I once was, but I keep reminding myself that "practice makes perfect".
Your prose is always delightful. xxx
Beautiful, embroidered tealight glasses, dear Amalia. Now is cuddly candlelight time, I wish you a wonderful autumn time. As always i love your thoughts in verses.
I love these! A freind in SA sent me a jute one w/ Peace embroidered on it..they are so pretty lit up Amalia.
Yes, the world is full of wonderful things.
And your last comment was wonderful, too.
Thank you so much for your nice words.
I wish you a cozy evening, greetings
Nicole
What a clever idea, Amalia. I love the beautiful embroidered candle-holders and your great poem. Kisses, my friend.
Your tea light holders are gorgeous; such a clever idea and perfect for autumn. xx
Those are so adorable, Amalia, I can't even stand it!
xo,
rue
So pretty!! Thanks so much for stopping by!!
Hugs,
Debbie
What a lovely comment. Thanks, Jo.
This is kind, Henry, thank you!
If they hadn't already been claimed I'd be heading to the post office right now.
To offer light in dark times - a beautiful idea, thank you!
That is exactly how I use them :-)
I've used them quite a few times with no problems. The glass shields the fabric and it doesn't even heat up. I only use them when tea lights.
I like it, Fiona, coming soon to a blog near you... :-)
I will! And I have five of them by now :-)
Alas, the bird is of the migratory kind and has flown away...
Oh, how kind. My eye is your eye... :-)
This is such a kind and beautiful message, Bonnie. Thank you!
I have and I will, dear Sheri. A big hug.
Neat is overrated... :-)
So cute. Thanks for sharing at Home Sweet Home.
How adorable are these?!! I'm sure they look so pretty with a lit candle in them. And your photo is, as usual, beautiful! Thanks for sharing at Vintage Charm. xo Kathleen|Our Hopeful Home
Very sweet! I thought at first you transferred your drawings onto ceramic at first. Great idea! Thanks for sharing at Best of the Weekend!
I don't know how I was able to miss this lovely post! I love the poem and the little cups for the candles, too.
