Vive la France!

If, by chance,
you visit France
and want to have fun -
go south to the sun.

The blue sea will dazzle,
the pizza has basil,
a festival in Cannes,
and you can work on your tan.

A market, an old city,
the shops are so pretty,
the people are nice,
so - take my advice!

Dazzling photos! I had to laugh at the first one...strawberries on sale in my area right now and my little grandson and I ate so many today it was ridiculous! Strawberries with milk, later on with shortcake, and then finished the bowl off plain...

I just love it when you do this! I can look and look and look. Immediately the polka dot basket/cart and the dress & shoes really pleased me. Then of course, the FOOD. Those tomatoes!!! Those pastries!!! Do you ever gain weight when you go there? Thanks for treating us.

Oh, my! You really have a way of taking in breathtaking moments of your time away, and sharing them with us. Every photo captures the emotion of the moment... the flowers, the vegetables, the shopping, the food, so much to soak up and enjoy. South in France, I will most certainly remember that! And those baskets of strawberries, oh my goodness. I'm in love. My strawberries are about to be ready here, and I can't wait. What a neat idea to pack them in tissue. So pretty. Love it all!

Hi Amalia, It's Jeanie from Marmelade Gypsy, here! I saw your comment on Stacey's blog (Poofing the Pillows) that you were reading the newest Maisie Dobbs! Isn't that series terrific? I knew you were a kindred spirit. I've read them all and probably will again! This summer I'm reading Louise Penny and Deborah Crombie mystery series (I love series!) and trying to catch up with Cara Black's Aimee Leduc books set in Paris. And I can see you love France as much as I do. Well, I just had to say hello! Stop by Marmelade Gypsy sometime!
