The Toys Are Upset!

The toys are upset
and they're muttering a lot,
summer is ending
and it's still very hot.

Everyone else has
a lot of time off,
but when they want a break
these children just scoff.

They work so hard
and they do work cheap,
they mind the children
so the grown-ups can sleep.

But if they don't get a vacation
whatever the cost,
they're off on a strike
and the kids can get lost.

Hello,

This past summer was very hot and humid here. The toys are cute, I am sure they do not want the children getting lost. They are just kidding. Take care, enjoy your day! Have a great new week!

What cute little bunnies. And how good of them to mind the children for so little pay. For their ability to keep the little ones amused, they are much appreciated, I am sure.

Oh my those poor tired toys! ..the kids have been home so much lately, I’m sure their toys have put in much more time on the job than usual. Give them a vacation ...rotate the toy box! (Although those babies are so cute, I imagine the children would miss them terribly.)

Poor toys. I can't blame them for wanting to strike. I don't think I've ever seen cuter strikers, though. Especially the one on the far left. Oh, those eyes! Perfect picture of dissatisfaction!. LOL Hugs.
