Are you free in four weeks time? Pack your bags, my friend, we're going again.

The cakes are called Tarte Tropezienne. You see them all over - they are a cream-filled brioche. They are huge and sweet and heavenly :-)

handmade by amalia said...

I hope you do get to go, Jeanie, it is a special place. You only see the nice things as a visitor but even knowing that I left thinking that they really knew how to live there.

handmade by amalia said...

I have a special fondness for that photo as well. We were having our morning coffee when we saw a group of kindergarten children walking by. One of the teacher grabbed four of the boys and they hid behind the corner for a bit of fun. The others stopped, puzzled, and it was like watching a little movie unfold. And then a guy arrived and parked his motorcycle there and the scene was perfect.

handmade by amalia said...

I've asked myself that as well :-)

handmade by amalia said...

Yes! I love to travel but I also love coming home, unpacking, reliving all the good memories and slipping back into routine.

handmade by amalia said...

Oh, lucky you! I hope you have a fabulous time... but really, how can you not? :-)

I love this part of the world as well. I think that it joins the casual beauty of the Mediterranean with a touch of European elegance in a most perfect way.
