The Speeding Ticket

There was a little girl who had a new doll,
she put her in a pram and took her for a stroll;
a policeman stopped her, looking harassed:
'You are pushing that pram way too fast!'

Featured: a new pram blanket
and a vintage wooden pram found on the street.

I really have a soft spot for PROPER granny square blankets in all colours and round patterns. You know proper random ones not ones that people have agonised over the colour choices for ages by wrapping wool round pegs. I really like the blankets that are made from stash leftovers and marvel in the rainbow of colours. This is a brilliant blanket and how they should be. Jo x

I had my mother in the car with me when I spotted the pram. I hit the brakes quite hard in my excitement and while i now have the pram, I'm afraid my mother now has some misgivings about the quality of my driving :-)

handmade by amalia said...

Thanks, Jane! It gets even better because the pram has a red wheel! Only one, though, which is why I suppose it ended up in the street. My father made a wooden wheel so it can still run. And fast :-)
