There was a little girl who had a new doll,
she put her in a pram and took her for a stroll;
a policeman stopped her, looking harassed:
'You are pushing that pram way too fast!'

and a vintage wooden pram found on the street.

You found that on the street?! What a treasure!!!
Your blanket is fantastic - the grannies are like colorful jewels out of a fairy tale!
Hi Amalia, this is a good story! Cute photos too! I so love, love your new pram blanket! Good workmanship!
Every doll deserves a beautiful handmade covered and an incredible cart as well
Amalia when this popped up on my Bloglovin' I couldn't wait to see..it looked like a vintage postcard.
Great job on the pics..the quilt(s) and the great find..The kids are ♥
Hi Amalia,
Wow that crocheted granny square blanket is just beautiful! The old fashioned pram looks so nice with the blankets.
The children are adorable.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend.

Amalia, your post always bring me such joy with your verse. The vintage pram is a delight and your crochet blanket stunning!
I love your post !!! the vintage pram is wonderful and your blanket so stunning !!! have a lovely week end !
I really have a soft spot for PROPER granny square blankets in all colours and round patterns. You know proper random ones not ones that people have agonised over the colour choices for ages by wrapping wool round pegs. I really like the blankets that are made from stash leftovers and marvel in the rainbow of colours. This is a brilliant blanket and how they should be. Jo x
So Cute!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!!
Hugs,
Deb

Thank you, Nancy, kind as ever :-)
Oh, Monique, what a lovely comment, thank you.
I love bags of leftovers! They are so full of possibilities and surprises. Thanks, Jo.
Thanks for visiting me, Katarzyna.
A compliment indeed, Kim! Thanks.
I had my mother in the car with me when I spotted the pram. I hit the brakes quite hard in my excitement and while i now have the pram, I'm afraid my mother now has some misgivings about the quality of my driving :-)
Thanks, Jane! It gets even better because the pram has a red wheel! Only one, though, which is why I suppose it ended up in the street. My father made a wooden wheel so it can still run. And fast :-)
NOT a blogger, obviously :-)
I'm afraid my little nephew has grown rather fond of that stern expression :-)
It's as easy as it gets, Cheryl, you really should give it a try.
Thanks, Akiko. We had a lot of fun with it.
Thank you, Pam, for visiting me.
This nice comment really made me happy, Nancy, thanks.
Thank you Brenda, for all your lovely messages. Yes, my fingers are tingling to crochet some more :-)
Thank you for this happy comment, Kim :-)
Thanks, DD, I only did it because we had a horrid fog for days on end and I couldn't get decent light, but was pleased with the way it came out.
She often is! Is there anything peskier than a little brother? :-)
He did, Wendy! He was a policeman with a heart of gold and a very accommodating model.
Thanks, Barbara. It was fun.
Love the vintage colors of the blankets and that pram is a true treasure. :)
Beautiful blankets! Looking at colorful grannies is always a joy to me. Just like it is to read your poems. I love this one. You should assemble them into a book. :-)
That is my secret dream :-)
