and little by little it turns out
I'm not the person I thought I was.
I'm not the person I thought I was.
I've always considered myself a 'finisher of projects'
but now there is a whole stash of Unfinished
that has been lurking in this cupboard or the next.
I've decided to tackle one project per week
and hopefully by the end of the year
I'll have a clean slate.
I'll have a clean slate.

Somehow there is always some unfinished project waiting for my attention. Never seems to clear them all. I like that little wooden cart in your first picture and all those very unique flowers and plants containers.

Good luck !!! Interesting decision ... your pics from Barcelona are great !! Have a lovely day !
What a beautiful flower shop. Good luck with all those projects to finish, looking forward to you sharing them.
Good luck with your list! Must get back to mine! xx
I love the pictures. I didn't understand very much the text. Which projects are unfinished? Are you going to craft anything with a slate? xoxo
Good luck Amalia! I was thinking the same about myself some years ago... Very pretty pictures!
The unfinished projects are mostly crochet and needlework stuff; not really to do with the pictures. Sorry :-)
It's lovely to get projects finished. I think you need to have a few going on at the same time as some are more suitable for working on in different circumstances. I have lots of things started but I'm trying to work my way through and get as many finished as possible. I also have plans to start some more!
I have lots of things started and hope to get some finished very soon. Then I'll start some more.
Do you mind if I join you? I've got projects set aside for my grandchildren to tackle (when I have them that is) :)
Those UFOs... they hide. Good for you to commit to finishing them. I have a couple myself I need to get off the shelf! beautiful photos! blessings ~ tanna
Yes, come on over, Maya! I'll bake a cake :-)
Love the photos, what a beautiful flower shop. i like to think of myself as a 'finisher' but I'm afraid it isn't really the case. I have so many bags and baskets with WIPs in xx
Ah, spring cleaning - I've been postponing it for awhile now but I think the time has finally come. Love it when everything has that fresh clean smell. I try to work on one project at a time, but while in the middle of something, I always seem to find another thing I want to work on. keeps life interesting.
Oh dear. Unfinished projects - there are a few of those lurking in corners around here, too. What a great plan you've set for yourself.
Beautiful photos dear! Kisses
I have a good few of those too - well done for tackling yours! Your flower photos are very pretty and spring-like :)

We all have a stash of shame, a WIP area of shame and a pattern stash of shame, isn't that normal?
Hugs,
Meredith
Hi Amalia wow those are such pretty photos. Yes I have a few of those unfinished projects here too that need to be done! Enjoy the rest of the week.

I agree, it is startling to find evidence that's contrary to what we believe about ourselves. Sometimes the evidence points to good things too, but I do relate to those unfinished projects...ahem.
Wishing you much joy in the tackling those one by one. What a feeling it will be in the end.

Oh, I have more unfinished projects than I care to think about. Quilting, crafting, painting. And of course I'm adding daily to the list since we're having a home built and there will be more work to do there. It all gets done eventually. Have fun completing your projects.
Story of my life. Sigh. So many unfinished projects, and every year I promise to get them done in the summer. That's a good plan to do one a week- not so overwhelming that way. :)
It seems I finish one list and start another...I think some time I will get old enough to know that I will NEVER be finished! Your garden cart is adorable!
Carol
I have a whole workshop of unfinished things! As I finish and get rid of things I just got more! Lovely flowers!
Oh dear, Amalia--I have more unfinished projects than I would want to admit! Good plan to tackle those unfinished things lurking! ♥
Hi Amalia,
I am so happy you posted this, it gives me great ideas for my Garden Stand. :-)
I agree, a great plan for unfinished projects. I have some too.
I will be taking a blog break for the Easter holiday. I will be traveling back home and spending time with family. I wanted to stop in and say Happy Easter too.
Carla
Sometimes I ignore unfinished projects....especially if I'm really not into them anymore.
Great garden-y photos. I'm itching for some green stuff growing.
I think we can all identify with that! I always have so many half-finished projects going on!
Lovely pictures !!! My mood is as the weather...
Have a nice weekend !
Anna
Sometimes my big ideas just get bigger and bigger and I find a stash of unfinished projets too. I admire your determination to finish them! Let us know how you do. ;)
I love your herb and flower planters, Amalia. They are so charming with the flowers you have planted so far. The purple ones are lovely. I want to plant some pink roses soon, but waiting to find the right color. Good luck finishing up with your projects, and I think I spotted a red rose in the picture, so pretty. :~)
Have a peaceful weekend doing the things you love.

Hope your plans to complete all your projects are successful. Lovely pictures from the garden centre! Sarah x
Wow! I'm impressed by your decision. I'm very bad at finishing projects!
I think I have more unfinished projects than finished projects. Oh well, they all get there sooner or later. Thanks for sharing the lovely blooms.
Ohh that is difficult! I have so much unfinished projects too ... :-(
It sounds as if you have a good plan for tackling these projects. I need to do the same thing with my writing projects. So glad you're putting up pics of your trip!
It sounds like a creative person. Too many ideas, not quite enough time. xoxo
Ouch, I know the feeling. There is always something hidding somewhere! You seem to have a good plan to win over it though! :D
Take care
Anne (Crochet Between Worlds)
Oh don't! I have so much to do and so little time and now I can't get my head around any of them. I think a list is in order and I can just tick off and feel more accomplished in myself. Good luck with your projects lovely lady x
Beautiful photos!!
Have a lovely week.:*
I need to follow your example and do more Spring cleaning. I have too much fabric but I never know what I'll need for a project. It's hard to keep it neat though. Good luck! And Happy Spring! Hugs, Diane
I like to think that all of life is a WIP and what matters in engaging in projects and not necessarily finishing them. But maybe that is just my excuse :-)
That is my favorite thing too! I opened the closet to day and it was all sorted and roomy and smelling of lavender. I'm so happy.
It will certainly give me a lot to blog about :-)
I'm really looking forward to your garden stand! I would stop by for supplies and a chat.
Determination is a big word :-) I don't always live up to my good intentions...
I' ve been reading a book about de-cluttering and am super motivated this year. For once, spring cleaning is getting the full treatment :-)
We all have that feeling from time to time..I just can't seem to start something before I fifnish something though..It just weighs:)
I used to be a very organized person when I was working . Not any more. I don't do Spring cleaning - just try to do what needs be done when needed. As a result I have a stack of "to do lists", and may never get caught up. :)
Oh, I hear you there. At one time I had almost 30 knitting projects in various stages of started but not done. It's SOOOO much more exciting to start a project than finishing one. That's the big reason I tend to set ridiculous goals for finished projects for the year. It REALLY helps me stick with projects once the excitement has worn off...
I certainly empathize! I need to set a similar goal! ;)
