The Best Point of View

"Sunshine is delicious, rain is refreshing,
wind braces us up, snow is exhilarating;
there is really no such thing as bad weather,
only different kinds of good weather"
~ John Ruskin

Have you ever visited John Ruskin's house in the Lake District? We did a few years ago. It is very interesting. There is a shop beside it where we bought a beautiful hare ornament which we called Ruskin.

You know, I have actually been there! We visited the Lake District a couple of years ago, best holiday ever, and I still remember the view from his amazing house looking on Lake Windermere. And, yes, I did the giftshop proud :-)
