Autumn has arrived,
and all were working hard
to clear the fallen leaves
and tidy up the yard.
The snail was moving slowly
and chatting with the trees,
when suddenly he stopped
and gave a mighty sneeze.
The bees were not impressed.
"Who has time to sneeze
when he's so far behind?
Hurry, sir, if you please!"
The snail was just about
to say, "So sorry, bees".
He opened up his mouth
and... gave another sneeze.
♡
Featured: now that the yard
is tidy, we can be cozy.

It's good to have a tidy yard - there is still work to do in mine!
And they do look very cosy indeed! x
Oh dear, so many bugs going around at this time of year. The bunnies have the right idea, wrapping up warm.
Poor snail trying to get all that work done and suddenly has a case of the sneezes. Such a cute poem. Those bunnies are adorable and they have the right idea getting all cozy in that warm pouch
Your creations and poems always make me smile. This was no exception.
It's the right time of year to snuggle up and be cosy! They have the right idea!
Best wishes
Ellie

Oh, those wee bunnies are so cute!
You always make the sweetest things. I sympathise with the snail as I have spent most of the day sneezing! xx
This time of year the leaves keep falling so always plenty to keep tidy in the garden/yard.
I enjoyed your poem and your sweet bunnies.
All the best Jan

This is such a cute story that I can 100% see it be a kids book.

Cute poem! You need to publish a book sometime :)
I really like that.
Your poems are just so cute and bring a smile to my face. Love the little bunnies in their sack too. You are very creative.
Poor snail, sneezing his way through autumn chores! 🐌
The bees may be busy, but I think he deserves a cozy rest with the bunnies after all that effort.

The photo and the verse are lovely!
Oh, sometimes I get those autumn allergies too. No sneezing, but the molds from the leaves makes me feel awful if I'm out there cleaning and clearing. These little bunnies are just too cute, Amalia. Love that soft blanket they are wrapped in.
The bunnies look ready for the cold weather ahead! I hope the little snail isn't catching the flu! There's still so much to do. Sweet post! x K

I wish your bunnies could come tidy up my yard!
Amalia, the poem is so sweet and the bunnies are darling! Enjoy your week!
Cute bunnies! I love a tidy yard and love even more having someone else do the tidying.
That is so lovely! Both the poem and the bunnies. Though I'm now working in the yard, because I've read you should just let everything be. Which suits me very well, because it means I don't have to do any work in the garden ; )
Sometimes I want to sneeze like the snail with all the work there is to do with putting the yard and garden to bed for winter!! Adorable rhyme!!
A great post from start to finish. Keep inspiring readers with your quality content!
The bunnies are adorable! Yard work, yep I have plenty to work on, but perhaps I will have a sneeze and take my time getting to it. <3
The bunnies are adorable and I love the sneezing snail!
Hi Amalia, ich lasse das Laub unter den Bäumen immer liegen. Darüber freuen sich sehr viele überwinternde Insekten und Tiere.
Liebe Grüße
Christine

What a delightful little poem, with the snail sneezing his way through the yard work while the bees hurry him along. The bunnies tucked cozily into their pouch are just adorable, and the tidy yard makes the whole scene feel ready for cozy autumn days.
