Going out the door
is old man Winter,
muttering to himself
and feeling quite bitter:
"For all my hard work,
the quality weather I bring -
all I hear around me
is joy to welcome spring!
It makes me want to storm,
it makes me want to rain,
but after a long summer
see if they don't want me again!"

Featured: I'm a bit late with
this poem, spring is almost gone
as well. But it is wonderful while
it is here and I've been making
party favors with cottage cheese
containers.

So cute and fun! Greetings!
Spring is really just arriving in my neck of the woods, Amalia, so I think your timing is perfect. Your party favors are just darling, too. I think this is an idea I might have enough talent to copy!! LOVE them!! xo
You've made those cottage cheese containers downright cute, Amalia! I'm missing spring already, even though technically, it's not over for a few weeks. We've had a long beautiful spring, so I'm going to try really hard to not complain when it gets hot and humid here shortly.
Lovely poem and such a great idea with the party favours. You must eat a lot of cottage cheese! :O) xx
Dear Amalia, Your party favors are so cute and clever. I love the coloured twine and collect it when I see it (which is rarely), and use it in journalling. Your Spring poem is lovely, and I like the image of old man Winter, who is beginning to tap on our door here in tropical Australia. xox
Lots of interesting ways to reuse the containers:)
Die Becher sehen richtig toll aus und sind ein wunderbares Gastgeschenk liebe Amalia.
Ganz liebe Grüße
Christine
What a great use of the containers! It is winter here and today is cold :)
The poem is perfect. I love it. Those party favors are so cute. What a great recycling project
If we have a very hot summer, we will all be pleased to welcome the cooler temperatures back again! That's a great recycling idea!
Best wishes
Ellie
ha ha... I've been collecting them for a good long while :-)
Cute upcycle. I save so many jars that I really have a hard time storing them and making use of them but feel so guilty tossing them.
Your creativity has innocence , beauty and grace dear Amalia 🥰
Poem is so lovely ♥️
And these party decorations are so delightful and pretty omg 🤗♥️👍
Blessings to you my friend 🙏♥️
What a sweet little craft idea, and so useful! As always, I love your poems. You have a gift.
The poem is delightful, Amalia.
And those party favors are just adorable.
Such a clever and charming way to recycle everyday containers. 🌼
I love your cottage cheese containers! And the poem! We are heading into winter here; and it has been a wet one already. Odd for us as winter is normally very dry.

A very cute poem and I love those party-favors. Very clever!
Hello,
The party favors are so cute, what a great craft idea.
Cute poem too! Take care, enjoy your day and happy weekend.
That looks very sweet! Happy rest spring!
I am not sure that the weather knows quite what it is! We had a heat wave last week and we are back in jerseys this week. Have a good weekend Diane
What a great way to upcycle the cottage cheese containers with twine. They would make good snack containers for your nephews (or my grandchildren). Love the poem, too. I'm not nearly ready to welcome Winter any time soon, but once autumn returns, it's a different story.
The party favors are delightful. You're talking to someone who loves the winter, so no complaining here. We are in the middle of spring, and summer will come soon, as it's getting warmer with each day. I hope you have wonderful June days, Amalia. : )
They look fantastic, great decorating of them, great idea with the twine and such pretty flowers!
I recognised those cottage cheese containers! So sweet!

Adorable.
I love how you've made them look all pretty! Very inspiring. And I love the poem. I think Winter gets a big wrap.
Happy Spring! What a cute and clever way to use your cottage cheese containers -- and what a terrific way to serve a dessert or take-away. They're just darling. The poem is darling. I'm not at all sorry to see old man winter leave!
A lovely poem and the containers are adorable. so creative.
...yes, reuse and recycle.
So cute! But... I pretty much never want to see winter arrive. It's far too long and cold and snowy/icy for me. LOL
Love your little containers upcycle. Very cute!
Cute! I love a great upcycle.
A delightful poem with a smile and a wink for old man Winter! Creative, charming, and eco friendly too.
Lovely example of recycling!
That is wonderful and I totally agree.
Oh give me spring over winter every time. I love your party favours, such a great way to recycle, they look so pretty.
You have tremendous talent! I love all your creations. I also enjoyed the poem! Thank you so much for sharing.
Such a simple thing, to wrap cups in string. And yet, what joy it must bring! (Had to make it rhyme! Lovely idea!)
Your recycling idea is oustanding, sweet Friend, and your rhimes always put a smile on my face, thank you for the magic world you always share!
Honestly, when I come and visit you here I seem to be amazed as only a child can be.
Love and hugs to you
