I went into the forest
hoping to play
but all the animals
were away.
I asked a tree where
the animals had gone,
“They got up early and
left at dawn.”
I soon found out that
the circus was in town
and the animals all
wanted to see a clown.

This sweet creation from a cereal box? I would never have guessed. Your story takes me back to when I was growing up and all my friends wanted to see the circus when it was in town. It was something almost all families did.
