Important Life Lessons - Hallmark Movies

Important life lessons I've learned from
watching Hallmark movies:

1. Dreams jobs appear just when you need them the most

2. There are a lot of handsome royals walking among us

3. The more pastries you eat - the slimmer you are

4. It is always the guy in the sweater, not the one in the suit

5. And, a small town over a city every time

6. If you have a fireplace, it is always lit when you come home,
as are at least forty candles

7. And, there is no need to turn off the lights. Ever

8. Some of us are amazing bakers, the rest are either
event planners or own a bookshop

9. If you don't fall in love during the holidays, your best
friend/cousin/colleague is letting you down

10. Be nice to that lady booth seller, she is probably
a fairy godmother.

and a doll made of the cork of a wine bottle.

What a hoot you are, Amalia! I've been MIA in the blogosphere the last several weeks, so I haven't been keeping up with visits. This is a great one!

Thank you Amalia for the great morning laugh -- absolutely perfect! I honestly laughed out loud. I used to read a lot of "cozy" mysteries (the kind where the woman is an 'accidental detective' solving murder mysteries even though that is not her real job) and much of your list was true there as well -- For one thing, those ladies always seemed to own either a bookstore or flower shop or antique store and of course always in a small town. Oh yeah.

How did you achieve that delightful little hat?!

And the protagonist always has a change of heart and ends up saving the ranch/diner/library/museum/bookstore/vineyard!

Have a great weekend, Amalia!

Loved this so much. Also, no need to watch traffic when driving, totally OK to have long conversation with full eye contact with passenger.

Oh, I love watching the Hallmark Christmas shows every year. Yea, it seems to always be the guy in the sweater, huh? And definitely a small town over a city every time. I agree with that. This doll is so cute made from the cork of a wine bottle. How clever is that? I'll have to show the girls. Maybe they can make one for the kids. Love your post, dear Amalia.
