Shame on You, Mindy!

 Mindy is a
lovely-looking doll,
she is pink and pretty
and rather small.

She has a smile
as sweet as a daisy,
but it must be admitted
that she is a bit lazy.

Each day the toys
play in the yard,
but Mindy says sorry,
the ground is too hard.

And when they all clean
and tidy and cook,
you can usually find her
curled up with a book.

The others are ready
to raise quite a stink -
really, Mindy, you are
very lucky you're pink!

I'm with sweet, pretty in pink Mindy. I would much prefer to have my nose in a book than "clean, tidy and cook". Such adorable little pink pretties, Amalia.

Oh dear, I'm afraid Mindy sounds a bit like me at an early age. I say she'll eventually outgrow this lazy streak and become a hard worker who needs to spend more time relaxing with a good book! Speaking hypothetically, of course. ;) Happy May Day! Hugs.

Mindy is following her own path in life. Good for her to be different and unique to herself! She is certainly adorable. Happy Sunday and Happy May. xoxo Kris

Mindy actually reminds me of myself when I was a little girl! I always had my nose in a book. I can still almost hear my mother saying "close the book now and go outside and play -- and enjoy it!" (That was a very long time ago -- I still love to read, but I do my share of work and I also love playing outside now, thank goodness ;>)

I guess there are some people created just to be pretty and Mindy is one! I often tell my little barking dachshund that she is so lucky she's so beautiful as she is definitely not known for a quiet voice.

Little Mindy is an adorable pink doll, and quite the character as well. I am really into pink these days, having just become the grandmother of a baby girl (after five grandsons). So cute, thank you Amalia. xx

Mindy is darling. And your poem is just right for these little fellows you made with love and care, Amalia. PINK is happiness, so your softies made me smile. : )

So sweet! I'm sure I've told you before, but my mom loved these sort of handmade dolls. I remember her buying some in Vancouver for us....so your posts bring me lots of precious memories :)

I loved this adorable poem to go with these adorable bunnies. Mindy is probably me, I would much rather read a book than do chores. There's always tomorrow, lol!

Gorgeous Mindy! I do feel for you though they just don’t understand what it is like to cuddle up with a good book. After all Chores are so boring! Keep well. Amanda x
