Spring is Here!

 The garden's in chaos,
things are quite bad,
and Spring slumbers on
snoring like mad.

A turtle goes over
and gives Spring a shake,
planning, if needed
to bribe him with cake.

"Wake up, wake up
you have to see reason -
Winter is leaving
and we don't have a season!"

Spring jumps and mutters:
"Sorry! Sorry my dear,
nobody told me
it's my time of year."

Featured: A little turtle
and his bestie are
ready to enjoy the new season.

Sometimes it is just that way, but thankfully, not this year. What a cute poem and it certainly is true that the garden is in shambles. Happy spring! 🪴

Your poems are always so delightful, Amalia. And I just love the soft little things you make. These are darling, and I love the colors. Spring hasn't quite arrived here, but I see signs of it. The birds are coming around more. : )

So sweet; thanks to the darling turtle for waking up the season for you!! (We have lots of turtles here, none as cute as yours. But I guess they do a pretty good job waking up the season because we never have much winter at all here in Florida;'>)!)

A nice and clever poem! :-) Here, too, one would have to shake the spring. While it's sunny and partly warm at the moment, the weather forecast for the end of the week is not encouraging - they say winter is returning...
Adorable the tortoise and the rabbit!
All the best and a happy new week,
