Red, Move Your Head

The color Red
had a slice of bread
but no jam to spread.

He thought to go ahead
and have oatmeal instead
before going to bed.

Then a voice in his head
suddenly said:
"there's jam in the shed!"

Red used his sled
to go to the shed
and get jam for the bread.

Then, sweetly fed,
his book almost read,
Red went to bed.

The tall one looks like part of a Russian nesting doll set! And both look like something we should gift to our new great grandson (coming next month).
