Mr. Candy Man

Wouldn't it be dandy
to live in a world made of candy?

My gingerbread house
will smell ever so sweet,
and bright jelly beans
will pave out the street.

Giant lollipop trees
will reach to the clouds,
and I'll eat tons of toffee -
no grown-ups allowed.

I'll live in this world
with my bear and my doll,
and my good friend the dentist
will take care of us all.

Featured: Mr. Candy Man himself -
my little nephew Ariel
with a blanket and a soft ball that I made for him.

How fascinated he looks by them both, these photographs of yours are truly stunning and your little nephew is so tender and sweet !
You had a gorgeous idea to make not only the blanket but also the ball with the same yarns and the same colours, I'm sure that he's caught by this, first of all ... he's so tender !

Thank you for this so beautiful post, my dearest Amalia,
may your Sunday be blessed with love

Oooh....I love the idea of your candy world. Could we cover some parts with chocolate, too?? I suspect the dentists would have very, very fat purses in this little world. Your crochet is beautiful, as is your nephew Ariel; he is so very sweet. The crochet ball is very cool...love, love the colours. I never leave your lovely place, Amalia, without a smile on my face. Your blog is the most delightful of places to visit!
