A Tender Heart

A little dog has woken up
with a heart just filled with dread,
he doesn't like to see the vet,
cannot face the day ahead.

his temperature may be going up,
he can feel his aching head,
all things considered -
it's best to stay in bed!

Featured: a little softie dog
with a suitably soft heart.

I would rather stay in bed too! Your handiwork with the dog is amazing, and the little rhyme that accompanies it, and the fun use of the clothespins is just so creative.. As always Amalia, a fun post!

It's quite strange to explain, I do understand it, but when I come and visit you here, my sweetest Amalia, I feel such a childish atmosphere that cheers up my soul, with its tenderness, its sweetness, its delicacy and its love .. everything you post is a precious jump back to those lovely days and I'm so very grateful to you for this, my darling !
Sending blessings

I'm curious, is the pattern for this dog made by one of your nieces or nephews' art?
I really love the flower embroidery on his legs and paws

Darling! The embroidery on the dog is so beautiful.

However do you think these things up? You take the simplest little things and create beauty.

I just hate it when we have to take our dogs to the vet. I feel like I'm betraying them every time!

So cute! Dogs and kitties both figure out real quick what the vet visits are about.
Thanks for stopping by. I don't decorate or participate for Halloween - did for many years, and finally stopped as don't Trick or Treaters where I live. Have a couple of Grands still young enough to Trick or Treat. Granddaughter's big sister was going to an event as Stevie Nicks, but it was an outdoor event and rain predicted, so she decided not to go. She did not care about the event anyway, but was going just to hangout with friends.
