Those Unappreciated Dolls

The dolls got together and decided to bake
scones and buns and a chocolate cake;
They worked all afternoon, without taking a brake,
and then the bear said: but I wanted steak!

this bakery is a joint effort with my niece Michal  -

Amalia, you have the most delightful poems on your blog. I love the little cork dolls, they're cute. Jess has a cork bulletin board, and through the years, she's collected quite a few.

Have a lovely week.

Does anyone else notice your quote at the bottom of your blog? I was so happy to see it! It is from "Let's Go Fly A Kite" from Mary Poppins, isn't it? I love that movie!! xx

My daughter is a mini clay food addict! We have tiny cakes, fruits and veggies. We even have tiny pizza...although I must admit, we do not have a tiny steak!

Pizza! Why didn't we think of pizza?

What a nice comment, Carla! Thank you.

Now that you mention it, you are the very first one to comment on my favorite quote! Yes, it is from Mary Poppins, right at the end of the film, And it is quite crafty, isn't it? I'm very glad to have you visit me.

You should see the mess these dolls left in the kitchen, Magali. Be careful what you wish for :-)

The cakes tins are beer bottle caps. Some people were very willing to help us collect them :-)

Calorie free! I didn't think of that one. My niece is too young to be bothered :-)
