Little Boxes

What to do with last year's calenders?
Usually I make them into envelopes or little gift bags
but this year I had one that was on the small side
so I made little boxes
(giving myself recycling points here)

What did I put into them? Date Delights

Some of you have asked me for this simple recipe:
Melt 500 grams mashed dates (without  pits) with 50 grams of butter
Let cool for a bit and add 3 cups of goodies
I use broken cookies, nuts, chocolate chip, dried fruit, etc.
Roll into a sausage shape and chill again,
and, finally, roll in coconut and slice.
Best kept in the freezer and taken out 20 min. before nibbling

You're so imaginative! I'm still looking at some Christmas cards I received this past December lying on my coffee table and wondering what I'm going to do with them.
