Sugar and Spice and All Things Nice

My niece Dana has recently reached the ripe old age of 4
(I'm still working on my present,
so that would be the subject for another post)

She showed me a little album that was made for her in kindergarten - each child drew a picture and the teacher put them together for her as a gift. I was looking at the drawings and thinking how charming they were. No future Picasso is lurking in her class, the pictures were all very basic and some hardly even figurative, but very attractive in their simple, colorful fashion.

I find children's drawings to be a constant source of inspiration and the dolls you see here were all made from drawings by another one of  my nieces, Michal.
