Here Little Doggie

A little dog has woken up
with a heart just filled with dread.
he doesn't like to see the vet,
cannot face the day ahead.

His temperature may be going up,
he can feel his aching head;
all things considered,
it is best to stay in bed.

This is seriously so cute. I am guessing you didn't use a store bought pattern? I need to copy this!

I don't blame the little doggy for his dread - I feel much the same if I have to visit the doctor or the dentist. He's a brave sweetheart!

Amalia - perhaps little doggie feels the same way about the vet that I experience when considering a trip to the dentist! Far prefer putting my head under the pillow and staying in be! Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday!

That could so be my Boxer. She loathes the car and only ever goes in it when she has to go to the vet! I think she would much rather stay in bed ;)

...cute little pooch.

Quiet time in a cosy kennel,
Herbal tinctures, perhaps some fennel?
Tummy rubs, a little pet,
May be enough to avoid the vet?

;-) Another gorgeous make of yours Amalia!

That little doggy is so cute, and so is the poem. It sounds like Archie when he has to go to the vet.

Your title: a new friend with anxiety issues" makes me smile. Don't know that before I retired I worked as a psychologist? I've seen a lot of doggies like this, and actually much worse:) Many thanks for bringing this reality to All Seasons' spectrum, Amalia, but in a fun way! Have an anxiety free week!

Amalia, that is the cutest little hand made doggy. It looks like a dachshund. I used to have a brown dachshund growing up named Cinnamon, and he was my favorite dog. Such a creative little soft animal you made.

I hope you have joyful March days, Amalia.

The doggie reminds me of my Fritzi when I was little. Lately I'm see people walking more dachshunds. Maybe they are becoming more popular. - Margy

He's so lovely. No dog really likes going to the vet do they? They just seem easier to persuade than cats who obviously sense what is coming and disappear hours before you need to leave!
