A Funny Old Day



In the middle of winter,
on a rare sunny day,
we went out to the garden
hoping to play.

We got a game going
but all was in vain,
the sky winked at us
and started to rain.

  20. Your little critters are too cute, your poem reminds me of yesterday, we went to the park to take a walk and it ended up raining on us, well I should say sprinkling, about 30 seconds after we reached the car it started pouring!

  39. Oh, Amália... what a beautiful images!!!! I love these flowers! I don't know if they are the same but here, we call them ranunculus, and I know that there are similar ones that are not grown here, in Brazil because of the very hot climate, which are called Peonies.
    I love the dolls, too!! And the poem!! So sweet!
