The Kindergarten Catwalk
My niece Dana (3) would not wear this pink t-shirt,
rightly judging that it was lacking a certain something
She I asked me to embroider on it and I went the minimal way with just a little embellishment

I Heart Japan!
I love everything about Japanese craft -
the materials, the designs, the mix of funky and refined,
everything!
These bags were inspired by something I saw in a Japanese magazine,
they are made of tea-dyed white linen

The Khaki Challenge
My niece decided to cut off the sleeves of her khaki shirt
so I thought I'd challenge myself to see what I could do with the fabric
I'm halfway through and this is what I have so far.
Who knew a couple of sleeves held this much material?

Venga Messi!
Two of my woolen hats have been to Barcelona
On a cold night they went to the Barca football stadium to see a Champion's League match (venga Messi!) and have been converted - they finally see the beauty of the game.
Leaving on a Jet Plane
My sisters and me went to Barcelona
to celebrate the Bat Mitzva of my niece Roni
There was a lot of fun, a LOT of shopping and the weather was beautiful.
Since this is a craft blog, I wanted to show you of all things the trip back home.
Roni and me boarded the plane well prepared and spent the whole journey making missed-you cards for the rest of the family and also something new - Roni bought pierced earrings for her friends and we made little mats to pin them on for a special presentation.
