The Sleepover

They invited me for
a sleepover last night,
it was great fun -
we had a pillow fight!

When we were going to sleep
I don't know why,
I wanted to go home
and started to cry.

Featured: A crochet lap blanket
and adorable nieces and nephews
who all love sleep-overs
and hardly ever cry.

What a wonderful auntie you are, Amalia! I imagine your nieces and nephews want to stay up all night with you. Your blanket is beautiful! (I finished mine last spring, but it's been tucked away for I don't know what.) Have a wonderful week!

Your nieces and nephews remind me of my own...I was 12 when the first was born and 21 when the last arrived. Now most are in their 30's, the sleepover days are long gone and I am a great-auntie to three little girls and an imminent fourth. That title makes me feel like I need a big hat! Fabulous blanket, by the way! :)

Hi Amalia, oh what fun everyone must of had, gorgeous blanket. Take care!

And I thought it was only my girls who liked to lay all over and on top of one another on the couch. They're not so strange after all - it's obviously a very sisterly fun thing to do! One of the benefits of crochet - always an extra blanket and shawl to keep guests warm. :-)
