Autumn in the Yard

 Autumn has arrived,
and all were working hard
to clear the fallen leaves
and tidy up the yard.

The snail was moving slowly
and chatting with the trees,
when suddenly he stopped
and gave a mighty sneeze.

The bees were not impressed.
"Who has time to sneeze
when he's so far behind?
Hurry, sir, if you please!"

The snail was just about
to say, "So sorry, bees".
He opened up his mouth
and... gave another sneeze.

♡

Featured: now that the yard
is tidy, we can be cozy.

It's good to have a tidy yard - there is still work to do in mine!

Oh dear, so many bugs going around at this time of year. The bunnies have the right idea, wrapping up warm.

Poor snail trying to get all that work done and suddenly has a case of the sneezes. Such a cute poem. Those bunnies are adorable and they have the right idea getting all cozy in that warm pouch

Poor snail, sneezing his way through autumn chores! 🐌
The bees may be busy, but I think he deserves a cozy rest with the bunnies after all that effort.

Oh, sometimes I get those autumn allergies too. No sneezing, but the molds from the leaves makes me feel awful if I'm out there cleaning and clearing. These little bunnies are just too cute, Amalia. Love that soft blanket they are wrapped in.

The bunnies look ready for the cold weather ahead! I hope the little snail isn't catching the flu! There's still so much to do. Sweet post! x K
