A chore? A bore!

 The iron is broken,
oh, what a mess,
with a pile of laundry
waiting to press.

The wrinkles! The horror!
It's almost a crime,
and what will I do
with all that free time?

idling about, not doing chores.

  1. The little friends are adorable; such cute makes. I have to admit that I quite like ironing. It warms my hands in winter and I can watch TV at the same time whilst still feeling virtuous! xx

  4. Your new friends are so cute.
I have always hated to iron so I'm happy that as long as I get my clothes out of the dryer quick enough, nothing is a wrinkled mess.

  5. Hello,

Love the cute friends. Chores are not fun, it is more fun to go outside and play. Have a wonderful weekend.

  8. Such cute new friends with their little touches of bright colours. Ironing isn't my favourite thing to do either - I'd much rather be idling!
    Best wishes

  16. Cute little plushy friends. I've dropped my iron so many times it's a wonder it still works. I only iron when I have to. My husband gets all his clothes pressed at the dry cleaners. :)
