Mindy is a
lovely-looking doll,
she is pink and pretty
and rather small.
She has a smile
as sweet as a daisy,
but it must be admitted
that she is a bit lazy.
Each day the toys
play in the yard,
but Mindy says sorry,
the ground is too hard.
And when they all clean
and tidy and cook,
you can usually find her
curled up with a book.
The others are ready
to raise quite a stink -
really, Mindy, you are
very lucky you're pink!
♡

Mindy certainly looks mischievous! Another cute little character - you are so good at making them.

Naughty Mindy haha, she's pink and cute and can get away with anything. Enjoy your Sunday. x
ReplyDeleteI'm with sweet, pretty in pink Mindy. I would much prefer to have my nose in a book than "clean, tidy and cook". Such adorable little pink pretties, Amalia.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteCute poem, Mindy is a pretty pink doll. Happy May to you!
Take care, enjoy your day and the new week ahead.
I'm with Mindy! Give me a good book and lots of pink!
ReplyDeleteOh dear, I'm afraid Mindy sounds a bit like me at an early age. I say she'll eventually outgrow this lazy streak and become a hard worker who needs to spend more time relaxing with a good book! Speaking hypothetically, of course. ;) Happy May Day! Hugs.
ReplyDeleteMindy is following her own path in life. Good for her to be different and unique to herself! She is certainly adorable. Happy Sunday and Happy May. xoxo Kris
ReplyDeleteMindy looks so adorable that we could forgive her anything! xx
ReplyDeleteMindy is a cutie. I love it.

Mindy is adorable...and so is her pink friend. And their little car!! Happy Sunday!! xo
ReplyDeleteMindy actually reminds me of myself when I was a little girl! I always had my nose in a book. I can still almost hear my mother saying "close the book now and go outside and play -- and enjoy it!" (That was a very long time ago -- I still love to read, but I do my share of work and I also love playing outside now, thank goodness ;>)
ReplyDeleteToo cute! I read your poetry to my little Wednesday visitors.
ReplyDeleteMindy is cute as can be. Happy New Week!

ReplyDeleteI guess there are some people created just to be pretty and Mindy is one! I often tell my little barking dachshund that she is so lucky she's so beautiful as she is definitely not known for a quiet voice.
ReplyDeleteOh I am loving Mindy! But, then I have been know to be a tad mischievous! LOL! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteSo very lucky to be pink!
ReplyDeleteVery cute and fun - Mindy and the poem.
cute poem and your dolls are just sweet, yes very lucky she is pink :) Love their fabric ears, stomach and buttons!
ReplyDeleteLittle Mindy is an adorable pink doll, and quite the character as well. I am really into pink these days, having just become the grandmother of a baby girl (after five grandsons). So cute, thank you Amalia. xx
ReplyDeleteOh dear, Mindy needs to learnt to pull her weight. She is a lovely shade of pink though!
ReplyDeleteMindy is adorable with all the pink even if she is a bit lazy.
ReplyDeleteVery sweet, dear Amalia -

Mindy looks very confident and she is lucky that they all do the cleaning. I love the little truck.
ReplyDeleteSo sweet! I'm sure I've told you before, but my mom loved these sort of handmade dolls. I remember her buying some in Vancouver for us....so your posts bring me lots of precious memories :)
