Morning Has Broken

The sun first appears
so distant and shy
before feeling bolder
and lighting the sky.

A pink flower raises
its face to the sun,
the dew lingers yet
and then it is gone.

The bird having slept
all the night long,
clears its throat twice
and bursts into song.

 A butterfly dances
without any warning -
oh, how nice it is
to welcome the morning!

welcome spring.

  4. These are such cute felt pieces, Amalia. I like how they are displayed on the twig, so creative. I think we'll have to wait a bit for Spring here, cause the snow is falling as I write, and we're supposed to get about two feet. It's so beautiful, and everything is covered in white. : )

Happy Spring days to you, Amalia.

  21. Your wall hanging is very fun, and fitting for spring:) Last week we were in Fredericksburg, where I saw a similar branch, only smaller, and they had little pieces of glass glued on thread hanging, as chimes. What you can do with a branch, eh? All Seasons thanks you for sharing your spring hanging - your work is always fun and delightful, Jesh
