the house lights shine bright -

I think that a fairy
sleeps here at night.
Sometimes when I'm still,
as quiet as a mouse,
I can just hear her moving
around the house.
I've yet to see her
as hard as I try,
I have a feeling that
our guest is quite shy.

Even though fairies may not always be beautiful princesses.

I have yet to see a fairy. I really believed in fairies as a kid and enjoyed reading stories about fairies. Cute soft toys.
