I love it! That will keep you nice and cosy next winter. I made a similar one last year with all my scraps of acrylic yarn; it was a great stashbuster. xx
Love the lily pads, very pretty. Your blanket looks beautiful, so colorful. Cute poem to match your blanket. Happy Sunday, enjoy your day! Wishing you a happy new week!
Such a lovely crocheted blanket, Amalia...the colours are beautiful. I hope all is well in your part of the world. Because I’ve heard nothing of your country in our media, I’m hoping that COVID-19 isn’t too big a problem for you all. Australia has lockdowns, and a fair bit of unemployment and crazy things like panic buying of toilet paper, hand sanitizers, pasta and flour.
Beautiful waterlily! You surprised me with your thumbnail, because I did not realize you had black curly hair ... I thought it may be an American Native post:) Doesn't it feel accomplished after having finished such a beautiful and long project of crocheting or knitting? In my mind I can see it grace your bed this late fall and winter:) Your bedroom will look wonderful! Many thanks for sharing your poem and the blanket with All Seasons! Enjoy a lovely summer!
What a beautiful, cheerful blanket, Amalia! I think it would be perfect as a cape or coat for you too :) It looks so striking with that beautiful dark hair ♥
What a pretty cheerful blanket! You did great and I'm guessing that is you modeling! Enjoy your week! I'm reading a book I think you would like, The Hired Girl by Laura Amy Schlitz. hugs
Love it Amalia, what project is next? Your water lily photo inspired me to do a quick sketch of the photo (plus more leaves) in my sketchbook that I'm close to finishing, so on to a new project for me too! take care, thanks for sharing on craft schooling Sunday!
So pretty! I am still working on my winter crochet project but now that summer is in full swing here in North Idaho I probably won't pick it up again until the days get shorter and fall starts to make it's way here. :)
What a lovely granny afghan. I love all the pinks and contrasting colors. I have it in mind to make a large-ish scrap granny square blanket, too, one of these days.
I love it! That will keep you nice and cosy next winter. I made a similar one last year with all my scraps of acrylic yarn; it was a great stashbuster. xx
