You don't have to be
especially wise
to recognize that
time simply flies.
Have you lost a day,
a week, a term?
I think there's a time thief
but I've yet to confirm.
♡
Featured: Summer is here already
and I've yet to show you
my new-ish winter blanket.
Time flies.
and I've yet to show you
my new-ish winter blanket.
Time flies.

The blanket is beautiful! And I agree, time really does fly.
ReplyDeleteI sure like the way you arranged the colors and rows on the blanket. I'm inspired!
ReplyDeleteWow...just the way I've been feeling...
ReplyDeleteJane
Days just drift by so quickly, the blanket is lovely:)
ReplyDeleteTime does fly. It seems to pick up speed every year too. That blanket is so pretty. A long time ago I thought I would make a granny square blanket. I made about a dozen squares and then got bored with it. I never did finish.
ReplyDeleteGreat poem and I couldn't agree more about the time thief! Thanks for coming by my blog. I'm trying to figure out why I'm not getting comments from Blogger but I noticed you came by! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteAdoro essas mantas de crochê....são quentes, lindas e aconchegantes.

Time flies you say, indeed it does
ReplyDeleteI’m all behind and all because
of hanging bunting and pretty lights
that light the garden on the darkest nights
planting plants, mowing lawns
so much work it makes me yawn
going out, painting again
and trying to catch up with my dolls house plans!
Your blanket is lovely xx
Thank you, Judith, job done then :-)
ReplyDeleteTime DOES fly! But we always like the change of seasons, so it's nice to have constant variety. :-)

Sometimes I think I've lost months! I agree with Debbie that time always seems to fly faster when we're not at work. Heh. Thanks for the visit.
ReplyDeleteAmelia - I never travel without a blanket even in Summer, you just never know when it will be called for. One overzealous chilly blast of an air con unit and we're all saying where's my jumper, even in our tropical life! Yours is beautiful for sure!
ReplyDeleteLove Wren x
Love this poem... thinking on Momo of Michael Ende. Do you know Momo? Thank you again for your nice visit on my blogsite. It’s always a pleasure.
