a sleepover last night,
it was great fun -
we had a pillow fight!
When we were going to sleep
I don't know why,
I wanted to go home
and started to cry.
♡
Featured: A crochet lap blanket
and adorable nieces and nephews
who all love sleep-overs
and hardly ever cry.

Oh, what a fun time you must have had, sweet Amalia. Your photos were simply delightful :) And my, what a beautiful blanket!
ReplyDeleteHugs to you!
There seems to be so much fun to be had at the sleepover, Amalia. Too much fun for any tears. Gorgeous crochet blanket!
ReplyDeleteFantastic :-) Love that blanket and funny poem!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day, Sigrid
Such fun in those photos, you obviously had a great time. Loved the crochet blanket too.
ReplyDeleteI love the crocheted blanket. I remember my daughter's sleepovers. There was never much sleep going on...lol
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful auntie you are, Amalia! I imagine your nieces and nephews want to stay up all night with you. Your blanket is beautiful! (I finished mine last spring, but it's been tucked away for I don't know what.) Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDelete♥Such cute kids and I love the them all on top of each other:)Super cute quilt..Miss Fairy Fingers:)
ReplyDeleteBest nickname ever, Monique :-)
DeleteThe blanket is wonderful but those happy faces are the best!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful blanket and giggling kids, nothing could be better to look at! :-)
ReplyDeleteYour nieces and nephews remind me of my own...I was 12 when the first was born and 21 when the last arrived. Now most are in their 30's, the sleepover days are long gone and I am a great-auntie to three little girls and an imminent fourth. That title makes me feel like I need a big hat! Fabulous blanket, by the way! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful afghan... such vibrant colours. And a sleepover with those delightful kids; what fun you must have had!

That is one gorgeous blanket Amalia! Sleepovers must be fun when you are all together! Those are the moments children create memories so when they grow up I am sure they will fondly remember the sleepovers with aunty!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous blanket, always handy a t sleepovers! x
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful blanket!. I love crocheted ones.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely week!
Hi Amalia, oh what fun everyone must of had, gorgeous blanket. Take care!
ReplyDeleteAnd I thought it was only my girls who liked to lay all over and on top of one another on the couch. They're not so strange after all - it's obviously a very sisterly fun thing to do! One of the benefits of crochet - always an extra blanket and shawl to keep guests warm. :-)
ReplyDeleteThis was made as a lap blanket, to keep your feet warm and your hands free for crocheting. But it does well enough for little people :-)
DeleteToo cute and too funny! Is there an easier way to wake someone? LOL! Beautiful afghan.
ReplyDeleteHow fun!! What a group of sweeties with sweet smiles!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun group of pictures and I love the colors and pattern of your afghan.
