The toys are upset
and they're muttering a lot,
summer is here
and it's really quite hot.
Everyone else has
a lot of time off,
but when they want a break
these children just scoff.
They do work hard
and they do work cheap,
they mind the children
so the grown-ups can sleep.
But if they don't get a vacation
whatever the cost,
they're off on a strike
and the kids can get lost.
♡
I'm going on a summer blog break soon
I'll miss you all

very nice!!!kiss

I Hope the best of your summer break was restoring to all that inspires your creative poetic works.
ReplyDeleteLove the needle work here. It's such a lost art and we don't see enough of it anymore. I hope you continue and pass it down.
Thank you dearest Amalia for your beautiful visit to my place where pottery is what I am handing down thses days.
I trust that when you post again it will be amazing.
Now that I am here I am going back to catch up on all that I have missed.
See you soon.
Creatively touching our hearts here.

Oh the music here moves me soulfully... It's a lot like the music I listen to by many artist for movie sound tracks like Ondine, and so many, it's a music I can work to creatively. The electric guitar in this is so progressive kept so moving, it makes me drift away to an imaginative place as your small sea town with this one row of homes, fishermen boats reading themselves for the catch of the day.
ReplyDeleteI love the cement seagul ? Maybe it's a pigeon? I have gotten into these artful pieces these days.
And the lobster cages piled here, as well as your staging of the knitted fish pot holders are so cute, I want to knit some I must find a pattern?
Again Amalia thank you for sharing apart of your home. A place only in my dreams.
I am now a follower of your Instagram.
But still prefer the beauty of a good story life here with you. I hope to see you following me at Instagram as well.
Xx

What an amazing aunt you are.... Your turning wonderful child art into beautiful life art amazes me! This i will do with a few pieces my daughter created when she was about your nieces age.

ReplyDeleteI like your 10 things about your Scotland, but I could find a million things, the most important of them is the breathless beauty.
