Thanks for your dropping by my blog. As I child I didn't like the colour brown at all but as I got older I grew to love it. Now with all it's different shades its one of my favourites.
To me, browns are cozy colors. Browns remind me of winter sparrows. I like your throw and it looks perfect on the chair at the table. I'd pick that chair to sit in when I come to visit.

lovely little throw. I once learned to make the squares, but didn't know how to join them. I made enough squares for two throws, then I gave them away hoping they would find a home with someone who would finish that mess up. Glad to see your little guy is all put together.

Yes, brown and it's shades can be quite beautiful ... and it does go with pink, which is my favourite colour! We are fortunate to have such lovely colours to choose from.

I'm afraid I am guilty for not using brown , not because I don't like it, but for other reasons I just get bored working with it.I feel the same about working with navy blue, black. All the colours the Mr begs me to make him something with. I ran when he suggested a shades of brown scarf .Hehe. However , your colours are wonderful l love the turquoise.
Poor brown color... It is indeed rarely a favorite. You have such a talent with words and rhymes. It is a pleasure to read you. And seeing what you have made, of course. (It may sounds like an afterthought, but it's not!) I like how you incorporated so many colors in this project. I particularly like turquoise next to poor brown. That should sheer him up.

When my grand daughter was little I was surprised to see how popular brown and pink was for little girls. looks lovely together as in your little throw.
This quilt will certainly do it for Mr. Brown! I think we're falling in love with brown again, even if little girls of all ages still love their pink!
So many times I've noticed on your "Interests" profile section that you like the music of Johnny Cash. I do too, and he and June used to buy their Christmas trees each year from us when we were in the garden center business! Lovely, quiet man who just stood and waited until it was time to pull out his billfold.

I love your tablecloth's colors:) My mother gave me blue clothes, and she gave my sister pink. So I had adored for a long time. But now I can get my favorite color!
How beautiful! Here in the states we call them "granny squares". They were very popular when I was a little girl, my mom even crocheted me a hat in that pattern!
