A little dog has woken up
with a heart just filled with dread,
with a heart just filled with dread,
he doesn't like to see the vet,
cannot face the day ahead.
cannot face the day ahead.
his temperature may be going up,
he can feel his aching head,
he can feel his aching head,
all things considered -
it's best to stay in bed!
it's best to stay in bed!

ReplyDeleteI'm curious, is the pattern for this dog made by one of your nieces or nephews' art?
ReplyDeleteI really love the flower embroidery on his legs and paws
No, this one is me but there is a timid lion coming soon that is all my niece.
DeleteDarling! The embroidery on the dog is so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHowever do you think these things up? You take the simplest little things and create beauty.
ReplyDeleteI just hate it when we have to take our dogs to the vet. I feel like I'm betraying them every time!
You have to be cruel to be kind, Dewena! If they could, I'm sure they would have understood :-)

So cute! Dogs and kitties both figure out real quick what the vet visits are about.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by. I don't decorate or participate for Halloween - did for many years, and finally stopped as don't Trick or Treaters where I live. Have a couple of Grands still young enough to Trick or Treat. Granddaughter's big sister was going to an event as Stevie Nicks, but it was an outdoor event and rain predicted, so she decided not to go. She did not care about the event anyway, but was going just to hangout with friends.
Sounds like Thanksgiving is more your style, Glenda :-)
Deleteaahh, what a cute dog, Amalia. You are very talented, just wanted you to know that.
ReplyDeleteHappy November.
