Your crafting and verse writing prompt me to smile at you via our computer screens, Amalia. Thanks for posting! :) I have been working on creating some verses and water color pencil/woodless pencil illustrations to go with them. I enjoy the creative process as I imagine you do as well which is something delightful we can share, yes? xx
Those must be really wonderful teabag envelopes - you made such beautiful origami flowers with them. Amalia, I thought they were fabric quilt blocks, LOL. Love your very clever poem! I immediately starting thinking about seeing puffins dive and flying fish fly.
These are just beautiful Amalia, and I love the sentiment too. My daughter in law is Japanese, and used to make lovely jewelery from origami cranes, but that is on hold as she has a one year old! She has actually now got into crochet. I think she would enjoy your lovely blog.
Little WONDERMENTS here, love the tea bag flowers,. My daughter has made origami paper ornaments for a holiday tree, there just so sweet with creative printed papers.
Thank you for your beautiful words over at my place.
Wow - you and I have had quite a Japanese zen thing going on! Love your origami, I can just picture you sipping your tea and making your flowers, beautiful! Brill words too :) Have a happy week Wren x
Isn't that clever? At first I though your flowers (or stars?) were made of fabric with the english-paper piecing method. In any cases, they are gorgeous. Amazing. Pinned and shared on G+
Wow! What beautiful origami, and I loved the choice of the little rhyme to accompany your creative talent! Have a blessed and beautiful day dear Amalia :)
Amalia you have been visiting my blog and leaving such kind comments over the months ... thank you! And now I have read back for the past little while through your most recent posts in trying to catch up with yet another beautiful blogger. I loved the photos of Scotland with all their hills, lochs & ruins. Your tour through Kibbuts Regavim I found even more interesting. It seems everyone has the same idea there ... beat the heat! Such inventive ways to relax in the shade and cool down. Your niece is a cutie, and the shot of her playing on the worn piano is delightful! I don't want to clutter your inbox with all my thoughts on every post, but I really enjoyed catching up with you and seeing your sweet embroidered and crocheted makes too. The last origami flowers are so pretty, and I thought at first they were a quilt square. Have a wonderful week! Wendy x
This rhyme has a lovely, classic, timeless feel to it. And your origami stars are gorgeous. I thought they were paper pieced fabric ones to start with and it's made me want to make some fabric paper pieced ones now.
