Last week was a roller-coaster of a week
it began with my father in hospital after a bad fall
and ended with all of us in my parents' house
celebrating my mom's birthday
My sister baked an excellent chocolate cake
(you can tell that we did her proud)
and the table was decorated with candles
that I'd cosied with bits of embroidery

Happy birthday to your mom and fast recovery to your dad! I LOVE your embroidered pieces. In fact I am so overtaken by embroidery right now, I have returned to my textile projects and I am doing some embroidery on necklaces right now! Have a lovely Thursday!
