Introducing George

I had myself a treat,
a juicy, lovely bone,
that I’ve been saving to enjoy
when I am on my own.

Another doggie came
and gave me a chase,
so I hid my lovely bone
in a really good place.

But I may have been
a little too clever,
I can’t find the bone
and I’ve been looking forever.

Featured: Little George,
a joint effort of my niece Dana and myself,
is taking part in the
Sew a Softie Global Sewing Party.
We hope he makes a lot of friends,
though he may need a lesson in sharing.
More info about the party
can be found here.

George is adorable. I hope he can find his bone. I know what it's like to put something in a safe place and then not being able to remember where that place was.

George is adorable, Amalia! Such a cute poem, too. My own dogs have that problem - every once in a while they come running inside with dirty noses and an old buried bone they found! Sending hugs xo Karen

I reckon by the time you've made 100 more as everyone will want one - you've got enough for 101 Dalmatians! I'm sure that bone will turn up!
Happy Days indeed.

He is darling and could be the star of his own show...or storybook! He looks like trouble to me and that always makes for a great tale. I'd be first in line for a copy! As long as it was autographed of course. ;) xoxo
