France Revisited

The majestic, snow covered Alps,
the views so green and bright,
the people, the peace, the pastries -
France, you've been a delight!

Would you believe that first photo
was taken from the veranda of
our chalet? The first thing I saw
each morning. An Enchanted April
sort of moment.

Magnificent...or should I say magnifique! One word...that's all I've got after 6 years of French in American schools. I do however have a French student in our midst at the moment. Felix is here visiting friends for the summer and we have met. Charming, just like your photos. Thanks for sharing! Looks like a fabulous trip. xo

Wow thanks for your sweet message! Your blog is absolutely stunning I'm so glad you contact me :) I've been to this part of France few years ago, I remember these narrow, colorful and luminous streets and this vast lake nearby! Such a striking contrast, it's lovely :)

Spectacular photos that brought back nice memories of our visits to this region. It has been way too many years since we have been in the Alps of France. I'm thinking that at least one of the photos (7th) is of Annecy which is a wonderful town. Hope you had a great time, the weather looks like it was perfect.

I love that little castle surrounded by water. And the alley picture made me smile. There is always something interesting and fun to see in an alley. ; )
