In these cold, gloomy days
trying to fight off a cold
I think longingly of that Provence vacation
and of all the trips planned for 2015
♡
This basket was hanging on a door in one village with mail in it
It seemed a wonderful idea to me -
except when it rains, of course
A basket for mail,
ReplyDeletein Winter a pail?
Missing sun too. x
Thanks for the laugh, Helen!

Amalia, what a beautiful name. I adore baskets and for a while I collected them. .I got to the point I had so many I had lost the idea I had Of them dotted around the house as useful objet d'art. This year however, I used them a gifts for everyone, hey where filled with beautiful bits, adorned as yours with lace. I was so pleased I think I might start collecting them again. lol. Thank you for visiting my blog and taking the time to comment , I do appreciate it. Have a lovely day

ReplyDeleteHi Amalia, this is an excellent use for a pretty basket, but only as you say in fine weather! I love the cuddly creatures you make - they're charming :)
